Scott Green - Head Coach


Scott Green comes to Sem after a successful 4 year stint at Binghamton University.  As assistant coach, Green was an integral part of a resurgent DI program that went from being cancelled to CAA Champs in 5 short years.  Green helped develop two NCAA All American at BU.  Green also runs one of the most successful clubs in the country.  Shamrock Wrestling has produced 176 age group All Americans since opening in 1996.  It has had two World Team members and it's alumni have won 3 NCAA Individual titles in the past two years.

Most recently, Green led the USA contingent as coach of the 2010 Greco World Team which competed in Budapest, Hungary.  He has also led athletes to international competiitons in Amsterdam and Puerto Rico.

An experienced English teacher, Green will join the faculty at Sem and make an impact in the classroom as well as the wrestling room.  He is married, and he and his wife Jennifer have two young children, Riley and Caeran.

Andy Lacroix - Assistant Coach


Andy joins the Seminary coaching staff following two years of service as an assistant coach at Roger Williams University in Bristol Rhode Island. He enjoyed a decorated career as both a high school and collegiate competitor.  In high school, Andy won three state titles and two New England titles. He continued his winning ways in college, while while wrestling for Roger Williams University. He attained NCAA All American honors finishing 3rd in the national tournament in 2006.  Andy registered a collegiate career record of 97-20 establishing seven school records along the way.  While coaching at Roger Williams, Andy was selected as the New England College Conference 2009 assistant coach of the year. In addition to the work that he has done with the RWU and Wyoming Seminary programs, Andy works as a clinician and camp administrator, around the nation, for Ken Chertow’s Wrestling Camp program.

At Sem, Andy is a full time English teacher, and also assists with the schools soccer program in the fall. He also works with the schools residence life program, as a dorm parent in Carpenter Hall, the oldest boys dormitory.

Brian Kaschak - Assistant Coach

Entering his third season as a member of the Seminary coaching staff, Brian Kaschak brings a wealth of wrestling knowledge and familiarity with the northeast Pennsylvania sports landscape to our program. An avid physical fitness buff and insightful history teacher, Coach Kaschak spearheads the lion’s share of our in-season strength and conditioning initiatives. A product of the highly regarded Wyoming Valley West wrestling program, he enjoyed an all conference career as a collegiate baseball player. Coach Kaschak lives on campus while serving as a dorm parent in Carpenter Hall.

Pat O’Hara  - Assistant Coach

Pat continues with the Seminary coaching staff having enjoyed coaching success with the successful Pittston (PA) high school program, the Pennsylvania Cadet and Junior Greco and Freestyle National Teams and as a wrestler at Pittston and Wilkes University.  He is a USA  Wrestling Bronze Certified  coach and a certified Greco and freestyle official.  In spring and summer, Pat serves as a member of the Northeast Freestyle and Greco Club coaching staff.  Along with his wrestling expertise, Pat’s passion for the sport, connection with the kids and high energy level make him a significant difference maker for the program.
